Fortunately, I got to record Weezy on this fire ass track a few weeks ago. People seem to get straight into debates about who went the hardest on this one. That just means this b*tch is BANGIN! Who do you think went in deeper?
So if you didn’t already know. Young Twinn does his thing deal or no deal. In this case its an actual deal in real life though not a TV show. I’ve kept up with Twinn since before he had an original track out and got him in the studio years ago early on in both of our careers. I produced his first single and since then he’s managed to work with Jim Jonsin, Pleasure P, Willie Da Kid, Sean Kingston, and Lloyd to name a few. His web following is pretty ridiculous for a somewhat new act and I’de say he drives the ladies wild. The way he reps Texas will drive the cinnamon rolls out of business.
I always heard something in him and found him to be very dedicated and disciplined. He always rips through songs when we record with no distractions. Young Twinn is one of the few people I’ve worked with who actually doesn’t party much in the studio. Either way I’m bout it though Twinn so lets pop some bottles on the mixing board for once and watch the sparks fly for Jive homie! YES! Its official Young Twinn inks with Jive! I dont think Shonie would approve of me posting this but I gotta give you what you wont see anywhere else. I met her in a club and instantly fell in love with her talent. I slid her in the studio during my interning days and produced her underground indie single about 5 or 6 years ago shown above. This was a long time ago and in no way reflects the sound that both of us have grown into today. Have you heard the new single featuring Fabulous “Cant Let Go” or how about Trina’s hook on “I’m Single Again”? FIRE! Its crazy because she is mainly marketed as an R n B singer now signed to Slip N Slide. Lauren Hill WHO? Naw man Shonie!
